jigsaw-image-successSo hopefully you have now created your lifetime goal statement. You should be fired up, and inspired, reaching for the stars!

But you’re not finished yet. We want to ensure your success, and a few days / weeks after creating your lifetime goals you may feel back to normal, and back to old behaviour which isn’t helping you acheive your goals.

To eliminate this it is important to completely break down your goals, into smaller, manageable steps. You will now take each of your goals and create a 3 year goal, a 1 year goal, a 6 month goal, an monthly goal, and a daily goal. This might sound excessive, but planning is soooo important to achieving your goals, and this process will help you manage them every step of the way.

For example, if one part of your life goal is to lose 30lbs and live a healthier, balanced life then you may break it down like this:

Ultimate goal - I have lost 30lbs and am down to my optimum weight, and I will stay at this weight level for life.

3 Year Goal – I have kept the weight off, and have built a healthy lifestyle, and balanced diet which will stay with me for life.

1 Year Goal – I have lost 30lbs and eating healthily is normal to me.

6 Month Goal - I exercise regularly, I have lost 20 lbs, I strictly manage my diet and eat healthily.

3 Month Goal – I exercise every day, and stick to a healthy meal plan. I am losing weight in large amounts and feeling fantastic.

1 Month Goal – I have been dedicated to my diet for a whole month, I have been exercising every day, I have lost 10 lbs and love my new lifestyle

Daily Goal - I wake up early each day, I go to the gym on time every morning. I do 30 minutes of cardio, and my weights routine every day. I always complete my full workout. I always push myself to my limit, and try to beat my personal best. I do what I have to do every day, in order to reach my ultimate lifetime goal.

With this plan filtered down from your ultimate goal to your daily routine, and everything in between you now have a complete road map of how to reach your lifetime goals. You can do this for any goal you set, and by knowing the steps you have to take on a small scale your ultimate goal is not just a wish, it becomes an REAL PLAN that you are focused on and working towards – this will make you 10x more likely to acheive success!

You might be wondering about the goals written above, and why they are written in the first person, and as if they are already achieved – this is exactly what we will get into tomorrow, and doing this will make a significant difference to your success!
