If I already Have Goals Why Do I Need Subliminal Motivation?

If I already have a goal and feel driven then why should I need more motivation?
It was in response to this quote from our mini course:
Subliminal messaging will not work for you if you are lazy and want an instant fix to your problems without having to put in any effort yourself. However if you are driven to succeed and want to do everything you possibly can to ensure your success then *subliminal messaging will EFFORTLESSLY enhance your ability to achieve your goals quicker and easier!
This was a question I didn’t have to think about when responding, here is the reply I sent back:
It is our view that there is always room for improvement; if you always strive for improvement then you don’t need to worry about maintenance.
If you are always be looking to better yourself and are constantly extending your goals, always looking to improve yourself in some way then you may look at a range of methods – we personally use subliminals, hypnosis, nlp techniques, and read a variety of self help books… I consider myself pretty confident and outgoing, but I will always read another book on the subject – anything to keep pushing myself and improving – and that is what we are trying to get across with the passage from the mini course – subliminals are just one of many tools you can use to give yourself a boost, to stay focused, and to get an edge.
This is the mindframe we want people to approach subliminal messaging with – not “I hope this works, I hope it is my magic pill”, but “this will help me to stay focussed, and is just one way I will gain a little advantage and make some more progress towards our goals”. And if you are open, positive, and focused on improvement like this then subliminal messaging will work for you, it probably won’t if you are negative, and want an easy fix without working at all yourself.
